The first day I was so in shock of what was happening that I didn't even know where to start freaking out. Lots of info and lots of new people. My District is great! We get along so well. Sister Grossgerbeur, Sister Smith and I are all going to Oklahoma, Sister Riddle (my comp) and Elder Otterstrom are going to Denver together and Elder Pursley, Elder Anderson and Elder Brunsvik are all going to Wichita Kansas.. Gosh we have had so many good times, and lots of hard times.
Thursday is when the homesickness hit me. That was a hard night. especially because at that point I hadn't gotten any emails yet because we didn't have a district leader yet so no one to get the mail.
CONFERENCE WAS AMAZING!! Gosh i learned so much. And I didn't sleep through any of it!! (v proud of that) Also there was a bat that was flying around the gym the whole time and I was terrified that It was going to land on someone.
Monday we met our first investigator and she is open to hearing about the gospel, but has a hard time with the concept of a loving God.
This week definitely had its ups and downs but over all I am learning so much. My teachers are amazing and my companion is very smart. I am so excited for this huge adventure that is unfolding before me.
Thank you to everyone who sent Dear Elders they made my day! If you get them in before like 4 I will for sure get it that day!! I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!
