Christmas time is here (December 12, 2016)

"MERRY CHRISTMAS" What we yell to everyone we come in contact with. Missions during Christmas are wonderful because everyone will be at least 20% kind:) haha just kidding but we have been able to see so many miracles.
One of them is about a 16 year old boy who we met at the Festival of Light. We walked into the park saying "Ok we have one hour to talk to as many people as we can! BREAK!" and we walk up to this kid sitting alone on a park bench (in the freezing cold I may add) and we asked him if we could share a Christmas card with him (#lightTheWorld) and he agreed and we started talking with him, and eventually we sat down next to him and asked him if he went to church anywhere
"Yeah, I actually came with my church group tonight, but I am not sure, I just feel like I haven't found a church that I like yet."
Sister Long and I looked at each other and gave each other the go ahead and started to testify of what we felt like when we were 16 and how we found the path that Heavenly Father wanted us to take. The spirit was so strong and we gave him a Book of Mormon, and a few pamphlets and he had to go and we will probably never see him again. He is from a different town in Oklahoma just in Chickasha for the night, but when we walked away we looked at each other at the same time and said "I feel like I know him!"
It is really cool that Heavenly Father send people in our path knowing that we will finally have the courage to talk to them. I really think that we were sent to Chickasha to talk to that one boy that we may never see again, but hopefully he remembers what he felt that night in the cold on a park bench. It makes me think of the times I have had spiritual experiences in strange places, but it was perfect timing. Times when a friend or family member was able to answer the questions I had been asking Heavenly Father for weeks. Heavenly Father sends people our way because that is how he answers prayers. He works through other people. It is hard because I can't tell you how many spiritual promptings I have ignored, and then I hear Steve Garner's voice in my head "If you ignore the Spirit long enough it will go away." The more I recognize those promptings the more I receive them.
I hope this Christmas Season we can all come closer to our Savior and more sensitive to the promptings that the Holy Ghost is trying to give us. If we serve those around us we will be like King Benjamin taught "only in the service of your God"
I love you all and mIss you all so much!! I cannot wait to facetime you this week and tell you all the things that I forget to tell you each week!!! I miss you all and hope this Christmas season you remember the true meaning of the season! I love you to the moon and back!
Love,
Sister Webber
