This week was a hard one finding people interested in listening but we learned a lot about ourselves, and what we as a companionship need to do better.
On Monday we had a Standardized Training meeting. where our whole zone got together. I realized some things I need to do better. Because of that I can become a better missionary, so I welcome the chastisement....well mostly.
Tuesday we drove back from Enid (where we had the STM) and we went straight to service at the Neals museum. which is so cool. I pinched a nerve in my back though, and that was a little stressful because I couldn't ride my bike, so we just drove to all of our appointments, and the elders were kind enough to give me a blessing.
Wednesday we went to Oklahoma City to have a meeting for all the new missionaries and it was fun seeing my MTC friends again. Still not many appointments but we had one who is officially a Progressing investigator so Woo Hoo to that. Our one and only.
We went to eat at a ward member's house who are just like Janae and Josh and it is the funniest thing in the whole world. So I enjoy being around them.
Thursday we had a ward Cinco de Mayo party and I learned some Spanish words (that I don't know how to spell) that means, "Welcome to the party!" Learning a little at a time. We invited like 15 people, and no one came, but we got to know people in the ward so that was good.
Friday we had another lesson, and then the Wrights took us to dinner so that was the best!
Saturday was the day of Spanish. We had a lesson with Martha's husband and found out that he was a preacher in Honduras, We took a couple in our ward with us (they speak fluent Spanish) and they basically taught him.
We OYM (Open your mouth) to G. who only speaks spanish. Annie Neilsen sent me a letter so that I can learn some Spanish words and sentences. so S/O to her because I am basically a Hermana now.
Sunday was the best because I got to see my cute family. And man was I emotionally drained. Who knew it would be so hard to hang up a skype call. But I did it because I am a big kid missionary now. But it was really nice to see all of you and to talk to you. Weird how that won't happen again until Christmas. But good things come to those who wait. AND THERE WILL BE A BABY AT THE NEXT CALL AHHHHH so excited to meet that sweet baby Van Ry
Well I love you and hope you have a good week.
Love,
Sister Webber
