Peas on my Feet?

Well to look on the bright side of life, I didn't get poured on this week. We walked inside an investigators house and the rain came down. The floods came up, and we were dry. SO that was pretty great.
I am gonna be 100% real right now. This week was rough. I only cried twice though, which I carry as an accomplishment. Our prized one progressing investigator dropped us.. At least I had some ice cream in the fridge, because ice cream makes everything better.

I feel like I need to stop doing the day to day updates, and just tell you the miracles, so that is what I am going to do this week. Well I wouldn't say these are miracles, but the highs from a week of lows, which I consider all good things worth sharing.

Starting with funny:

We went to a ward member's house to eat dinner and they have 4 kids under the age of 8. They are the cutest kids ever, and their 3 year old is hilarious. We were teaching them about the armor of God for our spiritual message, and Sister Washburn said, "Aiden do you have Peace on your feet?" and he laughed so hard he was crying and we just looked at each other confused, and he said "Peas on my feet?" haha we got a kick out of that.

Now serious:

Who knew I could get a spiritual whooping, like I did this week. I started and finished dad's book, and I definitely learned a lot. It goes hand in hand with missionary work and I am so grateful for a Dad who can help me remember things through a book. I seriously learned so much, so thank you Dad.
I learned a lot about missionary work in my personal reading too, because I am reading in Alma right now, and they were they great missionaries I hope to be half the missionary that they were.

Another neat experience:

I am so proud to say that I have never tried alcohol. We taught the Word of Wisdom lesson twice this week, and both parties were astonished that we had never tried beer, or done drugs, but seriously it has never been a temptation. Especially after seeing all the bad things it does to families, and to your own health. And I can proudly say that the reason I have never done those things is because it is a commandment from God. They were both amazed at that answer and I was amazed at how easily it came out.

We are under tornado watch again but what is new. Know that the city of Ponca was blessed by an Indian chief, so tornados don't touch down here. It's been like 108 years since a tornado landed in Ponca City so hopefully that calms your fears (lol it doesn't calm mine.)

I hope ya'll have a wonderful week. I love you so much and I miss you every day. Thank you for your prayers, and your constant words of encouragement. I LOVE YOU MORE
